The Company

Wilde's Guides was founded in the summer of 1993 with the sole purpose of producing guides for the leisure cyclist wanting to explore the English Countryside by using near traffic free routes.
Horning Windmill           Our team is a powerful resource of cycling knowledge and expertise covering cycling from beginner level to competitive eventing.
In the last seven years, we have produced a cycling book every twelve months. In compiling these guides, we have ridden over 250 routes, and mapped and published over 200 of them.
90% of the routes are off road, taking you through forests and villages, along old medieval routes, through the grounds of stately homes, and meandering cross-country using bridleways, by-ways and old disused railway tracks.
Each of the individual routes have been tried and tested to take you to places where you will truly experience the full benefits of the landscape and nature at its very best. All of our routes are vetted, by the relevant access officers or countryside rangers, to ensure right of access.
